Insights on Integration, Connection & Self-Reflection
In this interview, Kaylee shares her experience as a solo traveler and the challenges and realizations she encountered along the way. Graduating just before the COVID-19 pandemic, she became an experienced online therapist, preferring the accessibility and flexibility it offers. However, her venture into solo travel brought unexpected self-reflection and loneliness. She discusses the importance of finding one's travel style and the need for connection, community, and grounding. The therapist also shares insights on integrating side hustles like yoga, Reiki, and coaching into her clinical work and building her own practice while navigating the complexities of being a digital nomad.
Kaylee is a licensed professional counselor specializing in relationship & sex therapy, alternative relationship styles such as polyamory and open relationships, and works with sexual minorities such as LGBTQ+ and BDSM/Kink clients. She works with therapy clients in NJ, coaches internationally, teaches mindfulness, and facilitates events in Los Angeles, CA where she lives.
